Proteins to rotate
Bison, elk, wild boar, venison, lamb and turkey. More variety in the jar means a wider mix of nutrients, and less chance of getting stuck on one protein.

Variety is the spice of a dog's life
You wouldn't eat the same snack every day for a year. Rotating proteins and whole-food ingredients is one of the big ideas in The Forever Dog, and treats are the easiest place to start.

Treats, four jobs
Tiny tidbits for training, small mouths and meal toppers, jerky for the big wins, cookies for everyday "good dog" moments, crisps for the crunch lovers.
Beef or chicken
Two of the most common proteins in dog food, and two you won't find in any Winnie Lou treat. A good fit for pups with sensitive tummies.
Meet the treat jar
Every bag is made in our own Colorado facility with ingredients you can actually pronounce. Here's who does what.
Here's how it plays out
Start with any mix. Before each box ships, swap bags from your account to try something new. Here's one way it could go.
Swap, add or remove bags, change the timing, or skip a box anytime from your account.
Overachievers, all of them
Some of our treats do a little extra on the side. Slip one or two into each box.
Tummy Tidbits: organic pumpkin for fiber, ginger to help settle upset tummies and activated charcoal for a gentle, natural detox.
Minty Breath Bones: spearmint and parsley for pesky puppy breath. Carob, never chocolate.
Turmeric Bison Jerky: organic turmeric to support joints. A senior-dog favorite.
Berry Boost Bones: real strawberries, blueberries and cranberries.
Bison Heart Tidbits: one ingredient, naturally rich in CoQ10.
Celebration Cookies: banana, vanilla and sprinkles colored with spirulina and beets.
Treat responsibly
Vets suggest keeping treats to about 10% of your dog's daily calories. Rotating sizes helps: lots of tiny tidbits on training days, a strip of jerky for the big wins.
Calories per piece from each product's label. Jerky strips tear easily into smaller rewards.

Cookies & pretzels are baked with organic flours, fruit and veg (no meat). Jerky is real bison, elk, wild boar or turkey with a few organic extras, plus our freeze-dried bison heart and liver bites. Crisps are a crunchy three-ingredient mix of sweet potato, chia and venison or lamb. Tidbits are single-ingredient, freeze-dried bison liver or heart, cut tiny: about 4 calories each and 100+ in a bag. They're perfect for small dogs, seniors and puppies, for training, or sprinkled over a meal as a topper.
For a dog who gets a few treats a day, 3โ4 bags every 4 weeks is a good start, ideally from at least 3 different types. If bags pile up, push the timing out to 6 or 8 weeks from your account. If they run out early, add a bag.
