- Ground up with starchy bindersStarch is what holds the little pellets together.
- Extruded under high heat and pressureThe cooking step that puffs it into kibble shapes.
- Dried, then sprayed with fat and flavorThe coating is what makes it smell like dinner.
- Vitamin and mineral premix addedTo put back what the heat took out.
Check our ingredients, we dare you
Dog food shouldn't need a chemistry degree.
Most dry dog food is cooked hard at high heat, then coated in fat and flavor to make it taste like food again. Ours is just meat, organs, veggies and whole seeds, air-dried low and slow in our own Colorado facility.

The less processed, the better
Same bowl. Very different journey.
Here's how a typical bag of kibble gets made, next to how ours does. No mystery steps, no secret sauce.
- Real meat, organs, produce and seedsLamb, turkey, venison, wild-caught whitefish, bison organs, sweet potato, apples, flax.
- Mixed in small batchesIn our own Colorado facility. We touch every bag.
- Gently air-dried, never above 160°FLow and slow, so the fats and nutrients stay put.
- Bagged. That's it.Scoop and serve. No freezer, no thawing, no mess.

Fat, the way nature intended
Whole-food fats. Zero refined seed oils.
Fat is where a lot of dog food quietly cuts corners. Every bit of fat in our recipes comes packaged inside a real food.
Lamb, turkey, venison, wild-caught whitefish, bison liver and spleen.
Flax, sunflower seeds and Brazil nuts, ground whole. A whole seed is a food. A refined oil is a factory product.
Not in any of our bags. Neither are fillers, by-products or mystery "meal."

Switching made easy
Slow and steady wins the tummy game.
Ease in over about 10 days. Your first bag ships with step-by-step instructions, but here's the gist.
25% Winnie Lou, 75% current food.
Half and half. Keep an eye on the backyard business.
75% Winnie Lou. Almost there.
All in. Bowl licked clean, probably.
A little loose stool along the way? Totally normal. Pause at the current ratio until things firm up, then keep going. Every dog dances to their own digestive beat.

Questions, answered.
Is this a full meal or a topper?
Either. Every recipe is complete & balanced for all life stages, puppies to seniors, so it can fill the whole bowl. Or scoop it on top of their current food as a meal topper. The calculator in the buy box handles both.
How long does a 2 lb bag last?
About 8 cups per bag. For a full diet that's roughly 2 weeks for a dog under 10 lb and roughly 4 days for a 30–40 lb dog. As a topper it goes about four times as far. The calculator in the buy box does the math for your pup.
Which recipe should I start with?
Turkey & Whitefish if you'd like grain-free and the most protein. Surf & Turf for the lightest recipe with the best omega balance. Bison & Lamb for active dogs who need the most fuel per scoop. Not sure? The sampler pack has all three.
Do I need to refrigerate it?
Nope. It's shelf-stable, so no freezer and no thawing. Keep the bag sealed in a cool, dry spot.
Can I mix recipes in one box?
Yes. Tap + on each recipe you want and they ship together in the same box, on the same schedule. Mixed bags all count toward the free bag of treats at 4+ bags. You can also swap recipes between deliveries to rotate proteins.
How does shipping work?
Orders ship from our Colorado facility in 1–2 business days and usually arrive about 3 days later. Free shipping on orders $75+. Under that, shipping is $6.
What's the free bag of treats?
Subscribe to 4 or more bags per delivery and we add a free bag of our treats ($8.99 or more in value) to every box. By default it's a surprise, a different bag each time. Or pick a favorite, like Celebration Cookies or Turmeric Bison Jerky, and swap anytime.
How much do I save by subscribing?
20% off your first box and 15% off every box after that. Skip, swap recipes or cancel anytime.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Anytime, from your account. You can also skip a delivery, change the timing or switch recipes.
Dogs are family. Food should reflect that.
